I listen to a lot of stuff. Right now I'm not listening to anything -- just the hum of my computer, and it's pretty soothing -- but earlier I was listening to: "Horse With No Name" -- America; "We Got The Beat" -- The GoGos; "Take On Me" -- a-ha; "Stayin' Alive" -- The Bee Gees; "Call me" -- Blondie; and several other songs that I can't think of right now.
Other times I listen to older country (before 2010, especially the year 2000 and before) or video game music. It varies. Sometimes I do all three in one day!

I just realised, I have performed either 1st or solo on 9 instruments in this work. My hands and fingers move by themselves.

And I have played nothing in this. But I could, even now.

They beckon me all night and im inclined to listen.

I hear her voice in the strings. Jeez..

She is late as usual. Drops whatever she is carrying on the landing as she tries to put on her coat, write a note on the calender, leash the dog and lock the door behind her.

I sit motionless in the car with my forehead on the wheel.

How was I to know?
