I paid $8.69 for a 50# bag of crumbles at my local "bent can" store- they are stocked by a grain company nearby in S.C.

Still paying $13.99 for 50# of the Purina Layena and $14.99 for 50# of Purina Start and Grow.

I also bought a 50# bag of the Purina Scratch a couple weeks ago and paid $10.99 for that. *SIGH* Hopefully with gas/diesel coming down now the feed will come down a bit.

I realize that the floods this past spring/summer didn't help, but the fuel costs haven't either so here's hoping!
