What are you planting in your Garden

Some of everything

Seriously, though, I got carried away and bought WAAAAY too many seeds. Any suggestions for the best way to preserve them for next season?

We have stuff growing from last fall's garden - spinach, mustard, kale, collards, turnips

Last weekend we planted - peas, more spinach (seed), cauliflower, broccoli, 3 kinds of lettuce and napa cabbage (plants) - we will plant more as spring goes on.

for the main garden

swiss chard
beets
turnips
tomatoes
peppers
bok choy
egg plant
summer squash
winter squash
crenshaw melons
cucumbers

There's more but all I can think of off the top of my head.

We just keep them in the same envelope they came in. We keep the envelopes in a paper bag in the pole barn cupboards. Haven't had any issues with doing that. We always have some leftover to use for the next year.

We'll grow:

Broccoli
cabbage
onions
lettuce
snow peas
tomatoes -- lots for canning
green peppers
jalapeno peppers
hungarian peppers
green beans
cukes
winter squash of some type
zucchini
sweet potatoes
watermelon
corn -- never grows that well for us
pie pumpkins
carving pumpkins
gourds
strawberries -- planted a new patch last year

Can't wait to get started! We'll probably plant the broccoli, lettuce, onions, cabbage, snow peas, and onions in April. The rest gets planted at the end of May.

You should all come share over at http;//www.TheEasyGarden.com (BYC's sister site!)

ANyways, I've already started my planting, but I'm a bit behind on starting my indoor planting (peppers/tomatoes/perennial seeds).

Outside I already have:
Spinach
Carrots
Cabbage
Peas
Brussel Sprouts
Onions
Garlic
Potatoes

To be added over time:
Green Beans
Black Beans (for drying)
Thai Chilies
Banana Peppers
Zuchini
Summer Squash
Pannie Squash
Several heirloom varieties of tomatoes
Sweet peppers
Pickling cucumbers
salad cucumbers
watermelon
sprite melon

I could go on and on, but we are yet to put in the new 50' x 20' bed that is already lined out... but not tilled. So I don't want to plan more then I end up having room for.
