Hmmm...glad to see this thread back up. I'm reading Micheal J. Fox's book "Always Looking Up: The Adventures of an Incurable Optimist." It's a good way to start the new year...

harry potter and the goblet of fire again. its so relaxing to read it, takes me back. love that book.

sabriel, lirael, abhorsen, graceling, and fire.
plan on rereading philip pullman's dark materials trilogy

I love the Harry Potter books too. They started a whole lot of kids reading again!

Right now, I'm reading Janet Evanovich's "Twelve Sharp". If you're looking for a laugh read some of these Stephanie Plums books. Stephanie is a bounty hunter who has weird friends and relatives. She isn't very good at her job - doesn't like guns and had trouble with her cars starting fire or blowing up. Some of the things that happen are laugh out loud funny.
