People of The Earth by W.Michael Gear & Kathleen O'Neal Gear

"...If you liked 1984, read Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, it's just as chilling..." And then try On the Beach. These books still deserve attention, and once read, won't be forgotten. Then, of course, there is always Atlas Shrugged, by Ayn Rand, an interesting, though frightfully lengthy, read --onsidering our times today.~G

I hated that book for like 5 chapters. But like Swiss family Robinson, I kept thinking "This is so stupid!", then "I wonder what happens next....."
I cried through the last few chapters. One day, I'll read it again. I'm going through the Outlander series first.

Have you read any of Philippa Gregory s work?

I love The Other Boleyn Girl and The Boleyn Inheritance

I'm currently reading two books:

"Animal, Vegetable, Miracle" by Barbara Kingsolver - It's a great read for hobby farmers.
"The Cat Ate My Nachos: The Very Best of the Suburban Fringe" by Bob Rybarczyk - Suburban Fringe is a column that runs on stltoday.com every Tuesday. Bob is a funny guy.
