Self obsession, religion and stupidity.
I've seen therapists, but this sleep issue is something that I've had for a very long time, for as long as I can remember, since I was a young child. Due to the nature of the sleep issue, my sleep pattern resets itself, so I'll be on a normal sleep pattern for a few days, and during that time I'll feel better, since I won't be depressed about my sleep pattern, but I'll fall asleep a bit later every night no matter how I'm feeling, even if I'm relaxed. Like I've said before, my sleep-wake cycle is isochronous, regardless of how I'm feeling. It's just slightly longer than normal, and that causes the times at which I wake up and fall asleep to go entirely around the clock.James I wonder if your anxiety is keeping you up and maybe depression, that you won't be able to keep a good job.
Maybe a few sessions with a psychiatrist would be beneficial. You are not a mental case, just need the tools to get over this. Self talk is easy to learn and has the power to calm down anxiety issues.
