WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? WHAT DID YOU JUST RECEIVE?

Well I woke up this morning and the gold laced wyandotte had poop stuck to her backside.. so i got a warm washcloth and set it up next to it for awhile while i got out some olive oil... cleaned it off and put olive oil around her butt... also put a little on all the chicks vent areas... then got some whole oats and grinded them up..and put it on top of their feed and put the rest in a zip lock baggie... then went outside grabbed a shovel and pulled up a small area of grass and dirt and set it inside the brooder.. and mixed up a electrolight & probiotic and mixed with their water..

I am having 8 buff Orpingtons, 4 Barred rocks, and 3 White rocks. I ordered them from Meyer's hatchery they should be arriving by the 20th of this month im very excited!

Sounds like your catching it fast, and doing all you can! I'm sure they will be just fine!

Yah I am so excited!! I just picked up my baby chicks from the Post Office that I ordered from Cackle Hatchery!! I received the following:
5 Golden Laced Cochin
6 Cuckoo Maran
5 SIlver Laced Wyandotte
5 Americanas

I am super impressed with Cackle Hatchery. All of my babies made it and didn't seemed stressed and I knew exactly when they were going to arrive :) I cant wait to go pick up my little boy from school so he can get to see them :)

Just found this thread. I am currently waiting on a cackle hatchery surprise shipping Mar 24th, and a order of 16 call ducks shipping may 27th. Honestly not sure which order I'm more excited about getting. I love the idea of having call ducks again, but I'm also over the moon on the idea of getting the surprise hehe

LoL alot of reading and research is the ONLY reason im aware of this stuff and how to treat it and prevent it lol
Lol! I felt the same! I gave mine everything possible yesterday! And they all do seem to be doing better!! I had fed them all today I literally had both hands in and about 6 chicks in each hand going banana's ! hahaha It was just their feed too but it being somewhere else they were just over the moon! It was cute. I wiped a few bums and each one as I went to put them back in they just stood in my hand and looked up at me. I was like YAY we are getting comfy with each other! hahaha One in particular, she REALLY is docile and likes me. I don't even know what she is! hahaha Off to google....

Google = my best friend ;) hehhe one is a barred rock and one is australorp but i cant tell the difference between the two so i will just have to wait till they feather out.. *sighs*

Yay chicks! Just last Tuesday I received 10 blue laced red Wyandottes and 5 black copper marans from my pet chicken. They did not seem stressed at all, I think ordering more than just a few at a time is the way to go. Unfortunately, one of the marans arrived with a severely broken femur and had to be put down. I cried my face off even though I'd known her for 3 hours. Oy ve! Their feathers are already coming in nicely.

Next week I'm picking up from Farm and Fleet 2 buff Orpingtons, 1 silver laced wyandotte, and 2 cuckoo marans. This farm and fleet uses cackle hatchery. I can't wait for them!

I'm also receiving an unknown number of unknown breed ducklings in April from a classroom. Eep, I better get building more housing!! My family thinks I'm nuts.

Oh, by the way, Cackle hatchery does a great job with the chickens. I'm so happy with the buff laced polish I recieved last year.
