Mine are supposed to be shipped on the 30th, but I guess that depends on mother nature, Congrats and we want pictures please!

Mine ship on the 28th so I am guessing Tuesday or Wednesday! I'll post pics of my 15 Appenzeller Spitzhaubens and 5 Cochins!

That's really weird/icky. I would post those pictures over to emergencies/diseases and see what they think.

thank you I will. I think they are egg? I have rescue leg horns in a separate coop and I am getting 1 soft shelled egg out of 4. She stopped laying when I put her on ACV and this showed use yesterday and a soft one again today.

Thank you for sharing Debbiegt, I'm sorry for your loss. . I've been expecting to find her some morning like that, but it sounds like I will some day. I just would hate to see her suffer, or taken down by her flock. Yours made it to 6 weeks ?  And I thought she was doing good at 2 weeks. I sure hope some one helps you figure out what that is you found in the nest.!?

So I put my order in for 4 australorps and 4 slw's back in March and I'm not down to 16 days til they ship....I'm so excited I really wish I could have got them sooner but I'll wait to get the specific breeds.

I think it seems like everyone has had to wait for their birds this year... I had to wait 4-months... Mine came, yours will too I'm sure!

Just in case the two of you wanted to see how things had changed since getting them 4-days ago. The beeplas have been moved into the old milk tank where they will stay until they're large enough to be integrated into the main flock.

nice ..they look like they are loving it too.. when they have more room ,then theres a better chance they wont be fighting as much ..happy babys grow into happy layers and lots of eggs..lol

I am looking forward to putting my ne babys outide ..my flock is jus 4 birds now but the new babys will put me at 22 birds ..my wifes not happy with me ..I was only suppost to get 8 new birds ..so I stink at math..lol


.i really like your avatar ..it loos like it maybe a columbian wyandotte or a Delaware..but then I think I see feathred feet ..I have a brooder full of columbian Wyandotte now ..I hope they grow into show quality ..my granddaughter is 3 now and I am hoping she will be showing them in the 4-h fair

Avatar: It's a light brahma hen. Google images strikes again. She doesn't belong to me, she's just pretty, and right now the light brahma's in my newbies are my favorite.

Math: I think it goes with the territory of loving chickens? I was supposed to only order 4... I ended up with 13 from mypetchicken and another 13 from TSC.. hubby says I'm "cut off". lol

chick math strikes again .lol..I told her I was getting 8 and when my order was delivered and she seen how many ..I thought for sure I'd be living in the op with the birds ..lol..
a brahma , was thinking cochin with the feathered legs ..the colors and marking are very like the colubeam wyandottes..I just got 11 of them and 7 welsummers..I think just one roo..I no that's all I ordered but then I only ordered 31 birds and still ended up with 40 birds..lol
