Mine love yogurt, although I read somewhere on here that dairy isn't good for themThey also love watermelon, cantaloupes and pumpkin. I give them the cooked leftover pumpkin shells after I have scraped them for pumpkin pie filling. They like cooked oatmeal too.
Yogurt is fine. Milk used to be clabbered by farmers before giving to chickens in the old days I was reading (this can only be done with raw milk). So some people say that just plain milk isn't the best for them, but MANY on BYC give yogurt. I have personally given milk with no ill effects that I could tell. Cheese makes their poo smell horrible, though - I don't like to give cheese anymore.
