What are your favorite herbs for chickens?

I’ve heard of people using herbs to help chickens to some extent. I sprinkle freshly cut yarrow around my coop when I clean it to help with respiratory issues, and sometimes mint. I know there’s tons more, though. Which ones do you use?

I like to put basil in my chicken's food when they start to get sick, or just for an immune boost!

Oh, wow! I’ve never heard that one before. Cool.

I just use salt and pepper, sometimes rosemary and thyme, to season my chicken.

I like sage and tarragon. Or apples and garlic, and of course pepper, thyme, and rosemary. All terrific!
When free ranging, our birds eat little or none of the herbs grown in our flower beds. All the herbs go to my kitchen, not as bird food!
