I love gardening, I do art, play the viola, NOT A VIOLIN*. And ride horses.

*A viola is bigger than a violin, has a deeper tone, and in my personal opinion, is much better than a violin. I'm totally not biased...okay, maybe I am...a lot!
My girls play strings, so it is a big part of our lives, too. Would love to see some pictures of your horse, art or garden if you are able.

I do most of the geeky things, a lot of the outdoorsy things, and a bunch of the artsy things. My wallet would prefer I had fewer hobbies, honestly. I share my stuff all over BYC so most folks have seen it already.

Gardening but not to hobby level. Just if I want a tomato that tastes like a tomato or a hot pepper that's not been sitting for weeks, I have to grow them myself.

Herbalism to an extent. I make my own tinctures.

My wife crochets some.

We are fond of camping.

Magick. We don't view it any different than a prayer.

Would like to travel more or find something at hobby level, but budget constraints.

That is cool. My partner is a tech guy, too, but also really loves the outdoors, which seems like it doesn't always go together.

I call us "project people", but time, space, finances, and resources can definitely be an issue. I think it is okay to want to dream big, though. You'll never regret giving your gifts to the world. Maybe not always, I guess, but at least I can say that I feel great when I see folks doing that.

I'll go looking for some of your stuff!

I've got yarn on the brain pretty bad. These are a few projects I made that I really loved.

I gave them all away, though 😅. I guess that brings me more joy than keeping them.

Does anyone else find it hard to create things just for yourself? And actually keep them?
