Okay since I don't want a ton of PMs asking about the cat named Dinner, basically we found him as a tiny kitten being chased around by some dogs and saved him. My husband made a comment that if we had not saved him he would have been dinner for those dogs and everytime my hubby saw him he would jokingly call him Dinner. It stuck and now everyone that meets the cat thinks I am a weirdo. And just in case your wondering if he bothers the chickens...NO.. I broke him of it after he teased them all the time. I threw him in with about 50 laying hens and shut the door. Came back about 30 minutes later to find that the hens whooped his you know what and he was hanging on the wire door meowing to be let out. Now he protects my brooders by laying on top of them and hissing at anyone that tries to open them.

We had a Thing 1 and Thing 2 kittens once! We had 16 to find homes for, and I told the kids - NO NAMING! They are harder to get rid of once you name them. Well, these two were the last and didn'f find homes. After 3months we had to call them something when they got tangled up in our feet, and since they were almost identical - Thing 1 and Thing 2 it was!

Staying on topic- we have:
