Thank you!I work in the summer (April-October). Then I get the whole winter off
Your gardening plan makes me a bit envious...we used to have a huge garden in FL but here in WY we have scrub, hard packed dirt, ground squirrels, badgers, and high winds (not to mention the roaming antelope and deer). Gardening isn't really viable where we live now. But, hopefully someday we can get back to it!
Enjoy your summer @Cyprus![]()
Ah, incubating Guinea eggs! It is quite fun!I have baby goats arriving this month. I’d like to try raising a lamb, too. We’ll probably get a new puppy and we are planning a new chicken coop. Maybe pigs? I just put guinea eggs in the incubator, but I hope to have one more chicken hatch this summer, too. Lots of landscaping. I think that’s it. It’s quite enough already, isn’t it? lol
Nigerian dwarves. Just a couple more weeks!Ah, incubating Guinea eggs! It is quite fun!
What breed(s) of goat do you have? I'm so jealous!! I've been waiting for years to get some goats. I still have to wait lol
Wonderful breed! I assume you have them for dairy?Nigerian dwarves. Just a couple more weeks!
Yes. Two pretty little doelings eventually for milk. The lamb for meat and to see if we like having both. We bought 13 acres last fall and I’ve spent the winter and spring filling it with birds. Now for other critters.Wonderful breed! I assume you have them for dairy?![]()
Out of curiosity, what state do you live in if you don't mind sharing? I wish I had that much land; I only 5 acres and almost two whole acres is an alfalfa/grass hay field.Yes. Have you thought about using a greenhouse to garden?
