What are your plans for the summer?

We've talked about it, but these darn high winds! Our place is exposed (no trees) and we'd have a lot of expense and effort to put in something permanent using concrete/wood framing, etc.

So, some day we'll be able to get back into gardening but it will have to be some place other than here.

I live in Virginia.

Ours is very hilly. We actually live on a mountain. The flat space is occupied by the two homes on the property and our garden. We have one more large flat space for a coop and eventually a barn, I hope. The rest is hills, so we have to use that to our advantage. Hence the goats and sheep in place of cattle (I like them better anyway). We also want to do lots of fruit trees, maybe grapes.

My late grandma has some very hilly land down in Iowa that my dad and brother just checked out yesterday. I want to take it over sometime, but the land is hard to manage with how large and hilly it is. I believe it is somewhere around 60 acres.
 
I hate heat (above 70F) hate high humidity, hate strong sunlight, hate mosquitoes, bugs and those ssssssssssssss things etc. Probably will just stay inside and nap like I do every other day of the year. Hey, I'm old, sleeping is my best thing. I am really good at it.

:yuckyuck Actually with the heat out here in the desert, staying in with the air conditioner as much as possible is my summer thing. I run out to the coop every couple of hours to check on the flock and their water situation, then back in the house to cool off. We need some rain over here!
 
I'm planning to visit Europe this summer. My old friend invited me to Kiev, Ukraine. I'm going to explore the city and attend one local relax massage kiev, I heard so many positive reviews about this parlour. Then I want to visit France and Germany. I hope it will be unforgettable summer.
