Buff Orpingtons--the "boss" roo (still a baby, really) is Hypnochikn, and the lieutenant is Skee-Lo. (He wishes he was taller)

I know, nobody gets the Skee-Lo reference. But I still think it's funny.

Roo names oh boy,ummm ?

Franklin-my grandniece named him after a cartoon, can you tell me which one,it took me 2 months to figure it out.

Scrappy doo-i like scooby doo and after he was hatched au natural he'd try to challenge you to a fight (index finger only) if you added feed or water in the high tech brooder (aka cardboard box),then walk off.

Oddball-after Donald Sutherlands character in "Kellys Heros", he was kinda odd. woof woof !

Chevy Chase-every once in a while you'd watch him come out of the coop, fall down and get up as if to say "Live from the chicken coop its saturday night "

Roody-couldn't figure out a name for this one,so I just shortened it from rooster, plus had a purple pheasant named the same.

I have a lavender D'Uccle roo named King Cornflower (he was bought as a she), and a buff Ameraucana roo named Cashew. I like to give my chickens plant names.

We don't have our birds yet, but DH plans to name the 'top guy' Master Chief after his Halo game.

I haven't decided if we'll keep two roo's since we'll have alot of hens... so I have to figure out a name for another, just incase.
