Lucky you! My SFH are 22 weeks, so we’re still a month or so away from eggs.I'm hatching some SFH from my flock right now, cause I want more of them. My Wyandotte was from a hatching experiment. Good thing I only have just one left, she's a nice bird but she sounds like a siren every time she lays an egg. Ear splitting sound.
I couldn't wait until Spring so I fired up the bator and hatched 25 chicks. 100% hatch rate and I didn't even fiddle with anyone during hatch this time.What are you putting in the incubator or under broody hen for spring? We all know it's getting close to the "chick" itch season and we're already "filling" our incubators in our heads. What are you hatching next year?
