What are your Spring 2021 hatching plans?

Pics
I'm planning to hatch 6 (just 6, not more than 6, only 6....🤣) 4 that will be lo roo offspring- 1 pure lo, 1 crossed with buff orpington, 2 crossed with EE. 2 cochin bantam roo (my avatar) crossed with gold laced cochin and dark buff (is that the term for the dark redish brown one?) cochin bantams. Haven't decided yet if I will hatch any silkie crosses (remember, I'm only hatching 6 🤷)

Your reddish brown might be a partridge. Does it have a feather pattern?

This will be my first year with a chicken flock. I’m thinking silver Wyandotte’s. Any other suggestion?
To be honest, I hate Wyandottes. I haven't ever had good luck with them. They never lay and are not docile to humans. The one that does lay refuses to lay in the nesting boxes. I wouldn't have a Wyandotte unless you want them for looks.
Sorry to be a Debby downer.

I already have a local breeder lined up for lavender Orpington eggs and im wanting to breed my barred rock cockerel with my black ameraucana pullet if she ever decides to lay. thought about hatching some buff or dark Brahma eggs, but I don’t know how I feel about eggs being shipped.
I know it is a very 50/50 ordeal. Some people have very good success and others do not. I would be sure you're buying from a reputable buyer.
