What are your Spring 2021 hatching plans?

I'm looking at hatching some eggs from a neighbor. It will be buff orphington rooster over barred rock hens. Should be some nice sex link markins.

I think I am going to order some Ameraucana chicks with some Cuckoo Marans, Speckled Sussex, and possibly some Orpingtons, Brahmas and bantams. I really want bantams but since they are not as good of a layer some certain somebody's do not agree

My silkies lay almost every day in summer! I want Ameraucanas and Speckled Sussex!

I’ve had bantams that lay more than some of my standard hens. The eggs are just smaller.

Yeah I believe it, but some other people who sadly get to decide if I get chicks, aren't convinced

What bantams do you have Willow that lay well? And yes the eggs are smaller, but bantam chickens eat less, poop less and need less space.
