What are your Spring 2021 hatching plans?

Pics
I just hatched 5 chicks that are a mixture of an americana rooster and a heritage Buff Orpington. Two are also a mix of mixed Leghorn/americana hen and Leghorn/americana rooster. Can already tell by behavior that there are at least 2 roosters. I already have 4 roosters and not enough hens, so they will need to be re-homed. Since I raised chicks last spring and recently, I will most likely take a break in the spring.
Those sound like some pretty cool crosses!

I may get some type of Gamefowl eggs. I’m thinking about trying out turkeys but I don’t have much experience with them so I’m not sure if I’ll do that. All I can say is I can’t wait till spring!
Turkeys can be very friendly and enjoy interaction with people. They are also smart and learn well. Sit in the pen (or wherever they are ) for a few minutes every day. Talk to them and hand feed them. Wear a glove and feed them `long` treats - celery, carrots etc. to protect your fingers. Ive never had one attack my hand but if they are enjoying your treat they could get excited. One morning two of ours were on the front door step waiting for us to come out. This can be a good experience.

I already have a local breeder lined up for lavender Orpington eggs and im wanting to breed my barred rock cockerel with my black ameraucana pullet if she ever decides to lay. thought about hatching some buff or dark Brahma eggs, but I don’t know how I feel about eggs being shipped.
