Yeah, I’m picking it up because shipping would’ve been $50. And I think the only time there was any minimum was for shipping chicks was December - MarchAre you picking up? Do they not have minimums for that?

Me too!I am thinking silkies, wyandottes, marans, ameraucanas, cochins, lavender orpingtons, and probably more that I am forgetting! I can't wait!
If I have a broody hen I’m gonna let her hatch a clutch. I lost half my flock to predators this fall. I had 4 laying hens, 2 male guineas, 1 female guinea, 1 rooster, and 4 under age chickens. I now have 2 laying hens, 1 male guinea, 1 rooster, and 2 under age chickensWhat are you putting in the incubator or under broody hen for spring? We all know it's getting close to the "chick" itch season and we're already "filling" our incubators in our heads. What are you hatching next year?
Oh no! I'm so sorry. If I have a broody hen I’m gonna let her hatch a clutch. I lost half my flock to predators this fall. I had 4 laying hens, 2 male guineas, 1 female guinea, 1 rooster, and 4 under age chickens. I now have 2 laying hens, 1 male guinea, 1 rooster, and 2 under age chickens![]()
I know isn’t it awful?? The 2 guineas were a mated pair too and they along with the 2 underage chickens just disappeared when we lost power! The next day I went to check on everyone cuz I couldn’t lock up their coop (we live in the middle of the woods so no power means no light whatsoever). I’m not sure what got them cuz there wasn’t even a little patch of feathers like the 2 that got taken by foxes and the guineas were too big to have been picked up by a hawk.Oh no! I'm so sorry.
If all the chicks hatch out of the eggs I ordered, I’ll be up to 39 cluckersLol, I love watching other people be chicken crazy like me!
