What attacked my rooster!?!?!

So I came out this morning to feed and water my flock and I noticed that my polish rooster was missing a whole wing I mean it was just gone only a bone sticking out no other injuries just the wing... They have a run for protection but most of the day they free range in the chicken yard also there is no sign of struggle and the wing is just gone!?!?! Please help I want to protect the rest of the flock if necessary

WOW!!! Either he's a really tough rooster or that was a very stupid predator!

As you can gather from above, I think it was a predator. Could've been something charged him, caught his wing instead of his body, and either your boy fought back, or his probable cackling scared it off.

I would probably isolate him for a few days to give his wing a chance to scab over. I would also wrap it with non-stick gauze and hold it in place with vet wrap. Put some antibiotic cream like neosporin on it to keep out infection.
He might have to become a special needs rooster either become a house pet, which he would probably hate) or stay in a closed run. He would definitely need a low roost, and wide boards (think from a palate) to make it easier to keep his balance; that'll be very difficult without his wing. If you don't think that he's having any quality of life, carefully consider where to draw the line. He might be happier in heaven.

Predator got rooster while he was on the roost. Raccoon likely ate the wing off as it tried to pull rooster through something. Get on the stick and secure their roost site now! If you can not, then move the birds to a more secure location. Setup trap(s) for raccoon or possibly oppossum. It will be back tonight.

If that was the case wouldn't there be signs of a struggle there is no feathers or blood anywhere

Not always clear signs. Do you have pictures of roost and areas around it? Rooster would not be able to remove wing by his own efforts.

This is where the wing broke off I know it's hard to see but it's a clean angle break
