I have Americana Rooster in with my Hyline brown Hen and the first baby was Hatched..what kind of baby chick would it be?

if the mama is a great egg layer, then there is a good chance that the chick will be too

you can't really tell - till she starts laying. Mixed breeds are always a BIg question mark

LOL...REALLY? I always thought its the roosters that laid the eggs LOL
