I'll hazard a guess on #3 saying she's a calico princess. The white tips on her feathers. I got several of them from TSC that are the same.. but one turned out to be something entirely different. I also got their 'Ameraucana's' but they turned out to be something else too. It's Hoovers I believe having all the issues. I emailed them, and they asked me to send photos of a few of my bird issues. So I did, and they have not replied since.I got 5 chicks from my local hardware store. They’re from Hoover’s. They are 7 weeks old now.
This one was sold to me as an Americana, but I’m thinking it’s a Brown Leghorn and ...also a cockerel.

This one was sold to me as a Calico Princess, but I’m pretty sure it’s an Easter Egger.

This one was sold to me as a Buff Orpington, but it’s looking like a New Hampshire Red or maybe a Production Red?

Anyone want to weigh in? I am *never* buying chicks from a store again.
Only thing is I haven’t seen a single picture of a Calico Princess with a beard/muffs.I'll hazard a guess on #3 saying she's a calico princess. The white tips on her feathers. I was referring to the third image. They don't have them. This image is of Dora the Explorer.. she was the first one out of the brooder and checking out the environment.Only thing is I haven’t seen a single picture of a Calico Princess with a beard/muffs.
I ran into the same situation on the 'Ameraucanas' I bought.. Do welsummers have muffs?1-Welsummer cockerel
2-Easter Egger pullet
3-New Hampshire or Production Red pullet
I am a big advocate for birds from breeders. You know what you're getting and they're much better qualitySo many people have negative experiences purchasing chicks at TSC
No.Do welsummers have muffs?
