I would consider a ring neck if you can handle a little noise. They can talk the best of the three and are pretty good pets when hand fed. Plus you can pick from a bunch of colors. Rescue birds are better of left for experts. If the birds end up in a rescue chances are they need training to be pets. I work at a rescue and we almost never get in a parrot that doesn't need taming. They usually don't go there for no reason since parrots can be sold for quite a few bucks even if they are old or mean. I'm not saying people shouldn't adopt from rescues but a rescue bird really shouldn't be your first bird. And I am wrong in some cases a few rescue birds are sweet tame loving birds that just ended up there because there owner cared enough to put them there instead of selling but from my experience the majority of rescue birds are there because they were abused or neglected. Sadly some people just think parrots are pretty decorations but boy are they wrong. They need our attention even. Sure you can say they belong in the jungle but that's not true. The ones that are IN the jungle or CAPTURED from the jungle belong in the jungle. They ones that were raised in captivity among people belong with us, they wouldn't survive otherwise.
