Hi all, I have a few lovelies purchased from a local breeder as pullets. The breeder only specified in my set of five that she gave me a barred rock and an Easter Egger. The barred rock I can identify, and one of the others seems to be a buff Orpington, or something, but the others I can’t figure. Attaching pics of two of them here - any ideas? They are currently 8 weeks old. The breeder assured me they are pullets.
First, Xena is the black one. She is very very shy and a little larger than the others, shaped a little different than them too, with black beak and legs and an odd pale face, she reminds me of a penguin sometimes.
The other is She-Ra, she started buff but there is definite white in her feathers now as well, becoming more so daily. She’s beautiful with blue-green legs, she’s sweet, middle of the pack in terms of dominance, maybe my favorite in terms of beauty.
Any ideas what these breeds may be?
