What breed and age are these chickens?

ohhh. well if i get rid of the roo will that help
It’s not about him.
The whole point of quarantine is to keep disease from spreading. And it lets chickens settle down before going through the hardships of finding a place in the pecking order.
By putting them all together, you have made it easy for disease and parasites to spread, and made the chickens more susceptible to them because they will be stressed from social interactions with the strange birds they are meeting. :(
I’m betting your hen is sick with another bird’s disease, or just can’t handle being picked on.

Yes, but only among the new chickens. Combining two groups of new chickens in one quarantine pen will still protect OP's original chickens from any diseases brought by any of the new ones.

I agree, that might well be the case.

okay so i will keep her in a large dog crate away from all other hens, does that sound good?

Established flocks often are carriers of different diseases like Marek’s, Mycoplasma Gallisepticum, Fowl Pox, or Newcastle’s. They can carry parasites like tapeworms and roundworms, or external fowl mites.
When you buy new birds it’s always best to quarantine because diseases and parasites make themselves apparent. Sick birds get sicker when they’re under the stress of being moved to a new place. Hens will look ill. Mites may be visible.
But when you don’t quarantine, any birds from other flocks will give and get diseases.
So yes, there’s a very good chance your Delaware is sick.

I’m not talking about the older hens, they are safe, I agree. I’m talking about the new birds that have been put in together.
