she is with him, i put all my new ones together even thought they came from separate places, probably stupid now in hindsight, but they are separate from my old chickens. If she’s separate from the young rooster, I doubt he’s what’s stressing her out.
Ohhh…that’s really not good.she is with him, i put all my new ones together even thought they came from separate places, probably stupid now in hindsight, but they are separate from my old chickens.

okay, should i separate her? i feel terribleIt’s not about him.
The whole point of quarantine is to keep disease from spreading. And it lets chickens settle down before going through the hardships of finding a place in the pecking order.
By putting them all together, you have made it easy for disease and parasites to spread, and made the chickens more susceptible to them because they will be stressed from social interactions with the strange birds they are meeting.
I’m betting your hen is sick with another bird’s disease, or just can’t handle being picked on.
Yes, but only among the new chickens. Combining two groups of new chickens in one quarantine pen will still protect OP's original chickens from any diseases brought by any of the new ones. The whole point of quarantine is to keep disease from spreading....By putting them all together, you have made it easy for disease and parasites to spread
I agree, that might well be the case.I’m betting your hen is sick with another bird’s disease, or just can’t handle being picked on.
okay so i will keep her in a large dog crate away from all other hens, does that sound good?Yes, but only among the new chickens. Combining two groups of new chickens in one quarantine pen will still protect OP's original chickens from any diseases brought by any of the new ones.
I agree, that might well be the case.
I’m not talking about the older hens, they are safe, I agree. I’m talking about the new birds that have been put in together.Yes, but only among the new chickens.
