What Breed and Gender are these please....

I got 2 barnyard mix chicks from a friend a while back and we are pretty sure the one is a Moran but have no clue on the other one and I am guessing that they are both hens but I really have no clue. My kids will be a little upset if we got a rooster but we already discussed with them that if we do we will have to get rid of it.

Hello--Happy's comb looks pretty big and I see wattles there underneath his beak.......Looking a bit boyish. The other pic is hard to tell, but I'll guess girl.

She's not a Marans, the hens have more comb and wattles, too. Not sure what breed she is....maybe an E/E?

Happy is a cockerel and Rosie is a pullet. Rosie is not pure Cuckoo Marans, she looks like she is mixed with something. What color are their legs.

I love my Marans! They're good winter layers, even with no supplemental light - and both mine are sharing a nest full of eggs right now!


I'm not sure, but it looks like the legs are grey??
