What breed and gender are these two?

I have raised these two since they were only about a week old. Does anyone have an idea on what they might be and if they are cockerels or pullets? The gray one is about 3 months old, the black and white one is about 4.5 months.

In my opinion they look like Cochins but I'm no expert

The first one is a mottled colored cochin & the second one looks like a silkie cross & is blue. Both pullets.

Glad to hear that you think they are pullets! That is a relief. I was told the first may be a brahma mix when I got her - but she has odd feathers that stick out from either side of her beak. The black and white one I think is a cochin mix too. Her feathers are really fine though.

Black Mottled Cochin Pullet, and either "Blue D'uccle Cochin cross Pullet or Blue EE/Cochin cross Pullet." The Blue one Looks like some I used to have. The Mottled I have some that look like her.
