What breed and gender is my chick?

It was sold to me as day old barredrock pullet at my local feed store. I knew the color were darker to be a barred rock, I ended up buying it anyways since I would be glad if ended with a cuckoo maran pullet. After several weeks I notice his comb is getting more red for his age. Wha
