it is 3 months. like is said, it has no saddle feathers and doesn't crow.How old is it? The wattles and swept back crest are saying male to me. Females have a rounder crest.

my other roos already have saddle feathers and are crowing.(yes, they are polish roos.)they have a more "Mohawk" style instead of a "afro" style. they started crowing at about 4 weeks. plus, her crest isn't "swept back" it just looks that way in the photos.At three months it wouldn't likely be crowing nor have saddle feathers - some don't get those until later. But with all that wattle growth this early and the swept back crest I do think it's a cockerel. Others will likely have input though![]()
