What breed and gender?

Meet Stormy and Sunshine…they are a day or two shy of 6 weeks old. I picked up some fertilized eggs from a local farmer and put them under our broody hen and these two hatched out. Any idea of breed or gender?

Six weeks? I'd guess, by the size and color of the comb and the size of the feet, that Sunshine (buff) is a cockerel. Stormy looks like a pullet - small, pale comb. They're probably barnyard mixes, but they're both awfully pretty birds!

I agree. Could stormy be a EE or Sapphire Gem? Sunshine is probably a mix though.
