What breed and gender?

Is call pullet the day old female into you get the first egg after that is hen.

I'm guessing cockerel, those wattles are awful red for that age, the legs are thick and the stance in the one pic says roo to me.

It doesn't look like a production red to me, the coloring is wrong.

I leave her free range a lot and when she is not pecking at bugs in the grass she is make small holes in the ground and laying in them. I am guessing this means she is a hen? I don't know much about chickens but would a rooster do this?

Doesn't look like a production red to me either, but at this point I'd have to say it's a pullet.

Two months, that is a hen. She looks partridge-ish colored, not sure what breed still.
