Definitely looks like a hen to me. Some breeds she might be: Delaware, Sussex or Brahma. Could you send a picture of her whole body so I can see all the patterns and colors?

Their legs are yellowDefinitely cockerels if they are 8 weeks old. For breed, check the legs. If they are white, then light Sussex is your breed. If they are yellow, Columbian Plymouth rock is your breed. If they are green, blue or black, then probably mixed breeds.
I have a bantam that hatched 5 i didnt buy them.They both appear to be pullets. If you bought them as pullets, they probably are. They might be mixed, or Indian Rivers chickens... I don't know enough about the breed to be sure.
