Nice job! I can only say that it doesn't look like a cockerel at this point, but that could change once it grows and feathers out. It is quite young. It has feathered legs and the legs look like they are white. So maybe a Marans or Marans mix, but could be a mix of some other breed with feathered legs. Just can't be certain yet.It was a rescue.

Not usually. But it lacks the copper of black or blue copper Marans. It could be just a hatchery quality Marans or a Lanshan.
