What breed are my chickens?

Hello everyone! We got our chickens for free so far. We love them but I would like to know what breeds they are.

I know most of them are silkies but theres a lot that we arent sure. Some are mixed EE's/Silkies and Brahma/Silkies.

But my newest I have no clue.

If anyone can help me out, I would truly appreciate it.


I am getting these ones tonight. There are 10 and the lady who bought them didnt know the breed. They went into tractor supply said gimme chickens that will lay me a lot of eggs and these are the 10 she got.

These are EE - Silkie - Brahma mixes apparently

And just to show off - here is my beautiful silkie hen

New ones look like Black Australorps, Buff Orpington, Asia Blacks, and Gold Laced Wyandotte. Some are cockerels though = no eggs.

Just reread that and read that some are cockereals which kinda sucks but. They were free. As long as some are pullets.

We came back in the morning to check on them to make sure the were good and we found our first egg.

I'm pretty sure its the silkie hen from above, snow white.

We've only had them for 3 days so I wasn't expecting it yet.
