What breed are these birds?

They are a specie between duck and goose.

I believe they are the rare red cotton ball beak headed major ducks!

I would start with the chinese swan goose and extrapolate from there. That looks to be 1/2 of the equation although the color is wrong.

They are smaller than ducks, about half the size, real quiet.

I have the name before and I forgot it, I remember that I googled the name and it was a specie of bird that is between duck and goose. It is called something duck but they are not ducks.

Thanks that is what they are, I was wrong about their name, I thought it starts with a r.

Are they common in the US?
