What you have is a Production Red. Everyone gets Production Reds and Rhode Island Reds mixed up.

Rhode Island Red, Production Red. Whatever you prefer to call it. Hatcheries/feedstores/most people call it a Rhode Island Red, but technically since its type, weight, possible lineage, and behavior do not all add up, many also call it a Production Red.
