What breed are these chicks?

Hi all, i wonder if anyone can help our hen hatched 10 lil beauty chicks 9days ago ive uploaded a pic of the hen, rooster& lil chicks never seen them this colour before so cute just wondering what kinda breed they are ?

Welcome to BYC - did the eggs that she hatched come from your flock or did you get hatching eggs from an outside source? Are the adults pictured the only birds in your flock? Can you get a clear photo of your rooster(s) and hen(s) so that we can help you to ID the breeds present in your flock?
If the eggs came from your flock, they are mixed breed chicks.

Is that hen their biological mother? Is the rooster barred? The hen pictured looks like a mixed breed. If she's the mother, and if the father isn't barred, those chicks are sexlinked. The ones with the white on the back of the heads are male.

Hi guys thank you for reply yes that is the mother the rooster is white we are only keeping the small flock of 2hens and one rooster a few months now 10 lil chicks although 3have died yesterday i dont know how..any advice glady appreciated thanks again

Not too sure what barred means??

It's alternating 'bars' of white and usually black. It's a sexlinked gene, in that, hens can only pass it to their male chicks. Males have a white spot on the back of their heads. The rooster looks like a Light Sussex from what I can see.

thanks a lot june buggena. I never saw them this colour before a lot of learning and reading up to do on my behalf. I just hope the 7 lil ones are still running around tomorrow i was devestated to find 3dead today

Three dead in one day is something to be concerned about - were they intact physically or was there visible damage to them?
