I'm just getting started with raising chickens, and recently got 4 chicks from our local TSC store. I was told they were all Golden Comets but they all don't look like the photos of Golden Comets I have seen in the forums. Attached is a photo from the day I brought them home and 2 more recent pictures. One is a bit larger, lighter in color, and has been slower to grow tail feathers. To my woefully untrained eye, the other 3 look more like the pictures of some kind of easter eggers than comets. I understand there can be a lot of variation depending on the crosses for the sex linked chickens but these seem way darker in color than most. Can you help me figure out what I have?

Other than a pasty butt on one of them that was quickly resolved, they have all been happily eating and drinking and appear to be doing well.

I can't really see the comb type. It is a pea comb or a single comb or somwthing else? Or could you take a clean picture of the comb?

I see single combs, but I think these are Legbar type Olive eggers, at a guess. Can't think of any other common varieties that have the chipmunk pattern and dark legs.
