What breed are these chicks?

Got these chicks as extras when we purchased some marans. The guy wasn't sure of the breed.

Bumping this thread with a guess. The cockerel looks like a Dominique? Not sure on the (?) pullet.

I don't think it's a Dominique because it was yellow as a small chick. But I think they are the same breed just different colors. I was thinking the same thing.

Both looks like mixed breeds to me. The barred one probably has some Dominique in him.
