Thank you, I’m so glad to be here! They have been laying daily so far, but their eggs aren’t in great condition because they have just been rescued from unhealthy living conditions. Hopefully in a couple of months their eggs will be gleaming after some proper care!

That is so awesome they found a forever home and will be loved and property cared for. Best of luck and please keep us all posted as time goes on.

Thank you for letting me know! Yeah, they aren’t in great condition just now because of where they came from they weren’t properly looked after. They are out freeranging all day and get fed morning and night, hopefully it will brighten them up and get them looking like their proper breed

My girlfriend rescued two turkey hens that were going to be sent to turkey heaven. She couldn't bear it and said she would find them a home. They were the scragliest things I had ever seen, but now months later they are beautiful and regular egg layers. I guess they have found their home. Just needed a bit of TLC!
