What breed are these hens?

    It's hard to tell from the pic, maybe Welsummers? Can you get a profile pic of one standing, including the legs?

    They have feathered legs so it would be hard to get a good shot of the legs, i think the one on the left is standing actually, they're quite small. Just looked up wellsummers and i dont think they are them.

    But a full body shot including legs would have shown me they had feathered legs, which is important in determining breed [​IMG] It also helps us see how the bird is built, that can vary a lot from breed to breed.

    I took a few more photos trying to get a full body shot but they seem to look the same in every photo, they're fluffy and small so it's hard to even see they have feathered legs even when standing.

    I think you might be right that it's a partridge cochin, they look very similar.
