what breed are these pullets?

Well, at least I THINK they are pullets...lol

Anyways, I just got these two last night along with my two bantam cochins, and the guy said he thought they were delaware pullets, but I was looking at pictures, and to me they kind of look more like some of the buff easter eggers.

What do yall think?

They may be easter eggers, but they are not true Ameraucanas. Ameraucanas have the puffy little cheeks or "muffs" that are not here. However, if they or one of their parents hatched from a colored egg they should or could carry that gene. And yes, they look like pullets!

Ah, that makes more sense. I was trying to figure out why their speckles looked different from the purebred pictures. Like the difference between pet and show quality dogs.
