what breed are these roos?

they're not mine, they belong to a friend. she was asking me what breeds they were but I couldn't tell. one of them is a golden phoenix, I was just wondering about the other two roos. no telling where they originated because she got them for a neighbor that moved out.

Is the one Golden Phoenix it the group of three? If so, the others are probably the same amusing that they came from the same place. Phoenix chicken have a similar body shape (to me anyways) as some gamey breeds. Then main difference is the extremely long feathers. I think they are either Game, Phoenix, or cross. Phoenix I think should have white earlobes though, and all three seem to have red.

White earlobes, not the feathers that cover the ear. I see the white feathers that cover the ear on that one. Americana has a great pic of a what a Phoenix should look like. The body shape looks small like a game breed, but the tail is at a different degree. Maybe all the weight (

)of that gorgeous long tail.

ah, maybe you're right about the ears. his tail feathers are a lot longer now, he wasn't being taken care of very well by the neighbor, he has a permanent limp, poor guy. she named him "the gimp". he's not much of a ladies man, but he's living a better life than before.

either way, I was just asking because she was interested in knowing what they might be, I'm sure she doesn't care if they're mixes

thanks for all the help everyone!

Look like Phoenix/Game mixes of some sort... Not sure why everytime people see a mutt now a day they call it an EE...
