See attached photo; i have 2. I was given 5 birds in a less than inhabitable case. Just nursing them alone.

They were born early 2022 and supposedly lay a tan egg. I thought they were olives til i was told they lay tan egg. Im thinking australop now bc one is super broody

An Australorp would have a single comb; hers looks to be a pea comb, or modified pea comb. I see 2 Leghorns, and what looks to be a Buff Orpington, but I can't see their legs which would really help ID them. They look like they've not been taken care of, I hope you can nurse them into good health again. ❤️

Are you saying the greys are what, Blue Australorps? They look like Sapphire Gems to me. (Brown eggs, they are basically Blue Rocks). Either way, brown eggs.

I posted the others seperately. The other 2 are some sort of bantam, the red one is just a production red

Well i thougt sapphire gem also but didnt think they go broody. One of these was ultra ticked today when i picked them up. Soon as i walked up i told the guy.. “ gota broody one there, shes ready for eggs” he just looked at me like what u mean, i been kicking her off for weeks now. Had no idea what a broody was.

They were in less than favorable conditions for the last 3 yrs. Hopefully i can give them some form of better life

All hens can go broody, just some breeds are known to do it more commonly/often on average :)

New pics. Suggestion? Possibly easter? I know there is a 1/100 chance of getting a tan egg.
