what breed are these two

We got these two from my daughters school who has no idea what they are. the black one has started to grow feathers on its feet too. Thank you if you can help

The first one based on the coloring and feathers on the feet is probably part Black Copper Marans, those feet look greenish to me (do they seem that way in person?) so perhaps an Oliver Egger. The second is probably a Rhode Island or New Hampshire Red

Interesting, I wouldn't have a clue, there are so many types of bantams and yes some have feathered feet. Is the friend the one that supplied the eggs for class? Will be interesting to see how they turn out.
