Hello all!

A few years ago we had a women give us these beautiful roosters. She said they were Japanese roosters but wasn’t sure of the breed. I have searched and searched for them but have never found anything resembling them. I’m hoping someone recognizes them. They were so much more beautiful in person, with lovely, long crows.

They died when something broke into our henhouse and I have missed them terribly.

Thank you In advance!

I have searched high and low through lists of Japanese chickens and not one resembles these.

It’s hard to tell from the pictures but they had very meaty combs. They also had white speckles on their breast feathers, and thin legs with long spurs. They were HUGE, 8-10 lbs at the very least. (Most of our hens are only 3-5 lbs)
This was the only picture we got before they died, I wish I had more.
They also had long, almost musical crows.

They could be hybrids of Tomaru longcrowers, which are a Japanese breed. Those birds are much bigger and heavier than Tomarus, though, so must be hybrids or some other breed.

Easter Eggers. They look to be rumpless. Easter Eggers have Araucana in their background, which explains the rumplessness. No Sussex.
A lot of Easter Eggers are silver.
