That’s not a blue rock, it’s either BJG or sapphire gem.

The hatchery I got them from is local and they only have Mystic Maran, Blue Rock, and Australorp

I vote sapphire gem or production blue. Both are early maturing, very calm, people loving, and lay brown eggs. Great hybrids to have in a backyard flock.

Sometimes they mistakenly get a different breed.

Oh wait...I just noticed the yellow feet bottoms. My production blues have black legs & white feet bottoms like the australorp.
So im guessing yours is a Sapphire gem. Ive noticed the SG females usually have black legs & yellow feet bottoms, and the males have all yellow legs & feet.
