What breed are these?

It has been a while since I have been here, just got some chickens and wanted to post pictures and find out more about them.

I am pretty sure the black one is an Austrolorp??? Not sure on the others. Thanks in advance

Bottom pic:

On Left Bared Rock, black sex link roo?, golden sex link, top ones, not sure, maybe BR on right, lower right black sex link hen.

Not certain except BR.

Okay, thank you. I know the rooster has REALLY pretty coloring when the sun shines on him. Almost a green looking sheen to him. I wasnt for sure on what the other hens were. Thanks again.

The br is the only one I'm sure of and the top black one looks like an austrolorp

I also have 6 New Hampshire Red pullets that I got today. I am going to pen them all seperate and keep them pure, as soon as I find a NHR roo.

I am going to pen the BR and my RIR roo together also for sex-links. ( i think that is the two breeds that I read that made sex links.) I am still reading up on all of this....lol.

Here's a few new pictures. Maybe someone can tell a little better about them. I have 6 of these all together. 5 hens and a rooster.

and these are my NH and RIR's staying in the shade where its cool.

Your rooster has what we would call "bettle shine" if he has green among his black coloring. That is one characteristic Australorps have. Is he very large, how old is he in these pictures? An Australorp rooster would be large and of good weight.

Your yellow hen is almost certainly a Buff Rock.
The barred obviously a Barred Rock
The Black Hen appears to be a Black Sex Link but I can't be sure.
Your final hen seems to have a bit of Creole coloring but I'm unsure about her breed. She might simply be a poorly colored Barred Rock with a good bit of brassing from the sun

It doesnt really matter what kind they are, I was just curious as to what they may be. I am going to be using them for eggs only. I am going to keep my NHR's for raising chicks off of later on.

on the first batch of pics i'd say the first pic, the one on the far left looks like a buttercup?

NHRs are an excellent choice. :]
I have one of my own, though I mainly deal with larger birds (ie Brahmas) or Mediterranean breeds.

To the reference to Buttercups
No. It is clearly not a Buttercup. I breed /show Sicilian Buttercups.
It has neither the right coloring nor the correct comb.

EDIT: the bird I was unsure of appears to be a Standard OEG hen with poor Crele coloring. I looked through some OEG sites to make sure. :]
